First Thing First: Bachelorette Style!

If you know me, then you know I’m obsessed with fashion and finding the perfect outfits for every occasion.  My bachelorette party was no exceptions!  I put (embarrassingly) countless hours of work into finding the perfect looks for my bachelorette weekend in Miami Beach… because I mean, you’re only a bachelorette once so might as well do it right!  If you’re a bride-to-be or just style-obsessed, then I promise this post will indulge all your online shopping desires.  Warning: please don’t hold me accountable for any blackout purchases…

Let me break this down by activity for organizational purposes:

  1. Brunch
  2. Active/Leisure Wear
  3. Beach & Pool Parties
  4. Dinner & Out On The Town

Brunch

Afternoon boozy brunches are the perfect time to wear all of those cute outfits you always wanted to wear but didn’t really have the place to wear them.  Think rompers, cut-off jean shorts, midriff tops, wedges, and matching sets.  Why you ask? Simple. Weather! Living in the midwest and east coast we are blessed with four seasons, which means that when I want to wear cute going out clothes I have to be very selective with what I’m comfortable in and what will keep me warm.  Having a destination trip allows you to wear all these fun going-out pieces during the daytime, dressing up the brunch a little, and making it an extra special and memorable part of the trip.  See below for what I wore, and what I almost wore (you always gotta have options, girl)!

Active/Leisure Wear

Admittedly, we had planned on doing much more physical activity than what actually came to fruition.  So outfits were planned for exercise as well!  White-on-white, which was basically the theme for the weekend, started with this workout outfit and didn’t let down the rest of the trip.  Wore this outfit below on Day 2 in Miami!  Linking another sick white workout outfit that I only ended up wearing at home, but can’t wait to wear this summer!

Beach & Pool Parties

The holy grail of the weekend!  Obvi I went along with the all-white-everything theme and here are a few of the styles I wore!  Sorry for the photo overload — will add more of my planned outfits too, because there were a ton (in addition to the following below)!

Dinner & Out On The Town

That time to shine, put on your heels, and strut your stuff with your girls.  I found SO many cute white outfits for this trip that I couldn’t wait to share!  Unfortunately we weren’t in Miami long enough for me to be able to wear all of them.  I do plan to use some of the unworn items for my Bridal Shower and Rehearsal Dinner, so all that effort was not for nothing after all lol!  Here’s a roundup of my evening outfits!

A Long Time Coming!

A Long Time Coming!

Hi Babes!  Welcome to my newly designed blog space!

I’m thrilled and eager to finally have a hot moment to grow this space.  Let’s be honest, creating a blog has been a long time coming for me.  As you can see below, I initially started this blog way back in 2011.  I can remember being bored in my room while home for the holidays during Christmas break when it happened.  I’ve always been a creative, and over the years I have dabbled with so many different mediums, from Tumblr, BlogSpot, WordPress, Instagram, Pinterest, and I even created an Etsy site and Blog to sell my handmade jewelry.  As life continued, from high school, to undergrad, to pharmacy school, to real-life work, my creative ventures have been ALL over the place!  Now, at age 28, and finally settled in NYC, with a steady job, an amazing fiance, and an adorable puppy, I think this is the perfect moment to dive full speed into the “Blogger World.”  I’m excited to share experiences I’ve learned along the way throughout my 20’s, and will continue to learn as I finish planning my wedding, and take the leap from Miss to Mrs.  I hope you will follow along!

xoxo, Berg
